Peshawar Zalmi unveiled the Special heritage edition kit

Pakistani Super League team Peshawar Zalmi has unveiled a special “Heritage Edition” playing kit ahead of the sixth edition of the competition.

The jersey is predominantly green with intricate yellow patterns with various elements that, according to the team management, represent the culture and heritage of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Northern Pakistan.

Javed Afridi, the owner of the franchise, said the idea behind the jersey, which showcases various cultural icons, was to promote the region. Javed said, “We want to promote our culture through PSL and Zalmi.

The jersey will show what the region has to offer the world, ”he added. Printed designs include Khyber Pass, Islamia College, Edwards College, Ghanta Ghar, traditional paisley and truck art patterns, Markhor national animal, Jasmine national flower, K2 summit, and the tourist town of Malam Jabba.
