Pakistan Railways changes trains Timetable for winter

-

Pakistan Railways has unveiled the new passenger train timetable, which will come into effect on Oct. 15, on Wednesday.

The railway department has changed passenger train times and routes for the winter season.

Shalimar Express (Up and 28 Down) is served by Khanewal-Sahiwal instead of Multan-Faisalabad, while the intermediate stops at Drigh Road and Landhi are eliminated. Pakistan Express (45 UP) departs from Karachi to Rawalpindi at 2:30 PM instead of 1:00 PM.

The Karakoram Express departs from Lahore and Karachi simultaneously at 3:00 PM while the train stop at Bahawalpur has also been restored. Allama Iqbal Express (9 UP) leaves Karachi at Sialkot at 15:30. Railway authorities completed a stopover in Chak Lala on Rawal Express.

Pak Business Express is operated by Jahanian route instead of Multan. It is worth noting here that the Karachi-Lahore train service ran for 27 days after several railway lines in several cities were flooded due to flooding.

Train tickets can be booked From the official website of Pakistan Railways or mobile apps.
