Pakistan filed Violent Protest against derogatory Social media post about Prophet Muhammad (SAW)

Pakistan have filed a violent protest against the derogatory social media post against the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

Pakistan briefed the Indian High Commission in Islamabad of its strong condemnation of the reported disparaging social media incident against the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) by an extremist from the Hindu majority community in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

In a statement, the Federal State Department said the offensive post against Islam had harmed Muslims and reflected growing Islamophobia and minority goals in India.

Rather than prevent this hate crime against Muslims and Islam, the Indian police used brutal violence, killing at least three protesters and injuring many more.

The increasing incidents of religious hate crimes in India are a direct and inevitable consequence of the extremist ideology of the RSS-BJP Combine "Hindutva".

Pakistan called on India to investigate the incident and take immediate action against perpetrators of religious hatred, and called on the international community, the United Nations and relevant international organizations to do their part to counteract the rise of Islamophobia in India .
