Pakistan's military has decided to recruit and train Asif Magsi, who became a social media sensation after his staggered video went viral on social media.

Asif is featured in a viral video that skips 11 motorcycles and has garnered massive attention. In another video, Asif jumped over a lake that traveled a nice distance with a Pakistani flag in hand.

According to sources, the Pakistan Army will recruit long jumper Muhammad Asif and provide him with the necessary training and support to further enhance his talent.

"He will now join the Army Athletics Team instead of the Lahore Team," the sources said.

In response to the development, the president of the Pakistan Athletics Federation described Asif's recruitment of the Pakistan military as a positive development and said it would further encourage his talent.

On July 4, Asif Magsi received a call from the Pakistan Athletics Federation (PAF) after his video went viral.

In a video message, PAF President General Akram Sahi assured Asif will be supported by any means available. "I personally contacted Asif and invited him to Lahore, where we will improve his skills and enable him to represent Pakistan internationally," he said.

“I have asked our senior coach and senior coach to see him as soon as he reaches Lahore. I hope he grows up in a sold out Pakistan, ”he added.

Pakistan Cricket board also tweeted about the good luck and urged to work hard for international recognition.

An international athlete Carl Lewis also appreciated Asif Magsi for his skill.
