The Pakistani stock exchange is pleased to announce that Mr. Nadir Rahman joined as Chief Operating Officer (PSX).
Nadir has extensive practical experience in the capital markets in Pakistan and internationally and spans 29 years. His core competencies are business development, operations, investment management and business restructuring.
He has advised on numerous capital market transactions, including the largest deletion in Pakistan's history. He has worked in various leadership positions and will add valuable skills and experience to the PSX management team.
The position of CEO at PSX was approved and budgeted by the board, but was vacant for some time. This was an important task to continue the institutional development of PSX. I am very happy that someone with Nadir's experience and caliber has joined the PSX senior team. We have a challenging year ahead with many positive initiatives. Nadir's experience and knowledge will help to implement them quickly.
