Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) to recruit E-Rozgaar trained freelancers

The E-Rozgaar Training Program, an initiative of the Punjab Youth and Sports Department and the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB), would partner with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) to create global jobs for E-Rozgaar-trained freelancers to Created from Punjab.

According to the details, the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) held an online panel discussion with representatives of e-Rozgaar to discuss the opportunities to create global employment opportunities for e-Rozgaar-trained freelancers and showed keen interest in working with e-Rozgaar.

PITB held two focus group discussions for JICA representatives to familiarize them with the concept and functionality of e-Rozgaar and its trained freelancers.

The online sessions with JICA focused on general and technical know-how and introduced them to the Punjab government's vision of empowering young people economically and socially.

The JICA team was also briefed on the skills of Pakistani freelancers and the difficulties they face in securing lucrative job opportunities.

Hirotaka Izumi, High Representative of JICA, informed the participants about his ICT development mission in developing countries such as Pakistan.

He also recognized the Punjab Information Technology Board's initiatives for human development in the ICT industry, such as the e-Rozgaar training program.

Previously, PITB announced that they have started accepting applications for the latest E-Rozgar training series, which is being run in collaboration between PITB and the Youth Affairs and Sports Department.

It has also been alleged that the candidates of E-Rozgaar have contributed to freelance work. 2.4 billion foreign currencies so far.
