Google has officially launched Google Wallet in Pakistan, bringing seamless online, in-app, and contactless payments to Android users.
Now, you can tap & pay at retail stores, shop online, and even store boarding passes – all in one app! If you’re wondering how to set up Google Pay (Google Wallet) in Pakistan, this guide will walk you through every step.
What is Google Wallet?
Google Wallet is a secure digital payment app that allows users to make contactless payments via NFC-enabled smartphones and Wear OS devices.
It also supports digital items like loyalty cards, transit passes, event tickets, and boarding passes.
In Pakistan, Google Wallet integrates with local banks to allow users to store their debit and credit cards, making digital transactions faster and more secure.

As of now, the following banks in Pakistan support Google Wallet:

How to Set Up Google Wallet in Pakistan
Download & Install the App
- Go to Google Play Store.
- Search for Google Wallet.
- Install the app and sign in with your Google Account.
Add Your Debit or Credit Card
- Open Google Wallet.
- Tap “Add a Card” at the top.
- Select “Debit or Credit Card”.
- Enter your card details manually or scan it with your phone’s camera.
- Accept the issuer’s terms & conditions.
- Complete the verification process (OTP or Banking App verification).
- Once verified, your card will be tokenized and ready to use.
Enable Contactless Payments
- Make sure your phone supports NFC (Near Field Communication).
- Go to Settings > Connected Devices > NFC and turn it ON.
- Now, you can tap & pay at any store that accepts contactless payments.
Google Wallet supports contactless payments at all merchants that accept Visa & Mastercard NFC payments. Just look for the contactless payment symbol at checkout.
