Pakistan higher education commission (HEC) commanded the universities for online classes switch other wise abandoned the semesters, in their detail report for the universities.

Due to uncertainties surrounding the blocking of COVID-19 in Pakistan, the Higher Education Commission (HEC) is asking universities to switch to alternative methods. The educational authority has instructed to choose online courses or to cancel the semester.

Some schools in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) have already started online courses, although the government has announced the summer vacation until May 31. However, this move has been widely criticized for being considered a step to justify reimbursement while educational institutions are closed.

The HEC has published a detailed report on this with the necessary instructions to the universities.

If the restrictive restrictions are lifted in early June, the universities can continue to work. But if there are more delays, there is no choice but to switch to online education or leave the semester, ”said HEC President Dr. Tariq Banuri.

Fortunately, online interaction is one way of doing this. HEC has therefore asked the universities to prepare to switch to online courses and online interaction as soon as possible, ”as per his statement.
