Hadiqa Kiani's collaboration with Turkish artist Ali Tolga, who is dealing with martyrs from Kashmir, song video has been removed from YouTube, the singer confirmed on her Instagram.

Hadiqa uploaded the news to the Instagram stories late on Tuesday, pointing to something deeper than some technical issues. "Our tribute to Kashmir was removed from YouTube a few hours ago. It seems like a systematic shutdown, but we're not silent because our message is love and peace, ”she wrote in her Instagram post

She added that international civil society The Kashmir Civitas is "actively uploading the video again" and will be sharing updates with her fans as soon as she receives it. No further update has been made yet.

The song entitled Diami Bahar is translated in eternal spring and is sung mainly in Turkish with pieces in Urdu. Hadiqa sung in Turkish in the first half of the song and later adopts Urdu. Interestingly, this is not the first time Hadiqa sings in Turkish. A few weeks ago, the singer treated the popular Turkish title Sen Ağlama, originally sung by Sezen Aksu, in tribute to the popular TV show Diriliş Ertuğrul Ghazi.

In an earlier conversation with The Express Tribune, Kiani revealed how she got the chance to perform at the Opera House at the Ataturk Cultural Center in Istanbul, Turkey. "The song is actually from 2005. At that point in my career I toured a lot internationally and as a gesture for the host country I wanted to sing a song in her native language," she said.
