Faheem Haider Joins Mari Petroleum as new CEO

The Board of Directors of Mari Petroleum Company Limited (MPCL) elected Faheem Haider as CEO and CEO of the company.

“We would like to inform you that at its meeting today, the Board of Directors approved the appointment of Faheem Haider as CEO and CEO of Mari Petroleum Company Limited effective August 12, 2020,” said MPCL in its application to Pakistan Stock Exchange ( PSX).

Faheem Haider would replace Lieutenant General Ishfaq Nadeem Ahmad (Retd).

Faheem Haider is a petroleum engineer with over 27 years of professional experience. In addition to handling major E&P operations in various parts of the world, he has hands-on experience in JV management, business development, strategy and growth, operational efficiency, cost management and stakeholder management.

Faheem has a post graduate degree from the College of Petroleum Studies, Oxford, UK and a master’s degree. Graduated from Imperial College London with a Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering and Production Management. Graduated from UET, Lahore in petroleum engineering
