Islamabad: Capital hospitalin Islamabad is providing the free treatment for deafness.The hospital provides a full treatment for those child who are unable to listen by a surgical procedure.

In an interview of key person of ENT Department Dr Jawad Ahmed told this hospital is providing the best services in free of cost and more than 300 patient are treated for deafness in a 3 years after the department development in Capital hospital.
Dr Jawad told if a child who is not listening and speaking it is most probably this child have problems of deafness normally a speech center is developed in child brain after two year of his birth,their ENT Department examine the child with the help of speech therapist and audiologist .
If the speech center is developed then surgery is carried out it is mandatory the speech center should be developed in age of two years if it is not developed then he will not be able to listen or speak in his entire life.
Dr Jawad told to the interviewer there are thre types of deafness if the child who is not speaking in early age is most probable he is deaf he can be cured by a speech therapy and some surgical treatment.Dr Jawad said the best age for child is three years however it can be done after three years.
Dr told if some one has hearing problem the issue can be fix by some medication or some surgical treatment.
The Capital hospitalis not providing the medical services only for the CDA,NADRA employees and their families it is also providing the aid to international patients also.
