While the provincial government noted that Coronavirus cases in Baluchistan could reach 100,000 in mid-July, it allows restaurants and hotels to resume business on Saturday.
At a news conference in Quetta, the director general of the provincial health department, Dr. Saleem Abro, those cases increased faster due to the lack of implementation of standard operating procedures (SOP) to limit the spread of the disease.

According to Abro, the government's health service recommended introducing a nationwide ban. However, the violation of the SOPs continued in the earlier stages of quarantine.
He complained that people did not work with the administration during the quarantine period, which in some cases led to an increase.
The provincial health chief noted that the government was held responsible for violating SOPs on public transportation.
According to Abro, the local transmission rate at about 70 deaths is more than 90 percent.
He said the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has supplied the government of Baluchistan with about 20 fans and PSA kits.
