Balochistan Police department has launched the online FIR (First information report ) system in the province, To bring the province's police system into line with modern policing methods, Balochistan (IG) Police Inspector Mohsin Hassan Butt digitized the outdated and traditional police system on Tuesday.
The Computer Aided Data Command and Communication Center (DCCC) was established at the IG office. Under the new system, the first information report (FIR) is registered online, while the records of the Mobile Service Center and personnel management are collected in the DCCC.

Effective monitoring of the performance of police officers and police stations through digital data collection is carried out in order to best serve the people. On this occasion, IGP Mohsin Butt said computer-controlled FIRs will now be registered at all police stations in the province.
Police station Gawalmandi is fully digital and equipped with all facilities. He continues that hotels and bus stops will be digitally monitored under the new system. The use of technology will not only increase police efficiency, but also directly benefit the public, he concluded.
Last year, the Balochistan government set up its first mobile police station in Quetta. “In the first phase, the first mobile police station with internet and other equipment was set up in Quetta,” CM Jam Kamal announced in a tweet.
