PAK-ARAB REFINERY LIMITED(PARCO) is seeking applications for the following position:
ASSISTANT CHEMIST
Qualifications & Competencies:
Candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry. The candidate should be skilled in operating lab equipment and performing lab tests, handling operational and calibration problems of lab equipment and be fully conversant with product specifications and safety standards.
Experience:
Minimum 3 years hands-on experience of lab testing and analysis in a petroleum refinery, petrochemical or fertilizer industry.
Responsibilities:
Draw and analyze product samples from tanks and operating units
Routine tests and analyses of water, fuel, gas and other samples as per ASTM, UOP, BS, JIG and IP
standards
• Monitoring of stack emissions and working at height
• Preparation and standardization of laboratory reagents and solutions
Age:
Should not exceed 30 years
