7 Billion worth wheat stolen in Sindh warehouse

According to recent reports, 168,000 tons of wheat sacks have disappeared in Sindh.

According to the provincial government, the wheat was stored in a warehouse where it disappeared. To put things in perspective, this is the largest wheat theft in Sindh as rated as This Rs. 7 billion

According to media reports, the theft was first highlighted in the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) report on the wheat crisis led by Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Chief Secretary Sindh ordered an investigation into the case and transferred the case to the anti-corruption department.

This year, the government of Sindh has set a target of 1.4 million tons of wheat extraction. The state has not yet initiated the process.
It is noteworthy that Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) Sindh unveiled a scam involving wheat worth $ 620 million in April. Was stolen and sold illegally from Dadu’s food store.

This became known when an ACE team attacked nine different shares in the food department in Dadu. Deputy and Deputy Directors also accompanied the RAID team. During the raid they discovered that Rs 0.194 million was missing. 620 million wheat.
