The county council had authorized the district governments to decide to close the smart lock based on the local coronavirus situation and extend the strategy to July 15.
When the situation of the corona virus improved after the introduction of an intelligent lock, the Lahore district administration lifted the embargo on most areas, except for seven corona virus hotspots, including Gulberg, Faisal Town, Garden Town, Model Town, Defense , Gulshan Ravi and walled city.
A district government official said the government would reevaluate the situation after three days to make a decision to lift the smart block from those areas. The field service was asked to remove the obstacles that arose during the blackout period. Then the citizens in the open spaces were normalized again.
Under the guidelines of Punjab's Primary and Secondary Health Service, educational institutions, wedding and banquet facilities, restaurants, public parks, and cinemas remain closed and public gatherings are prohibited throughout the province.

According to the latest government statistics, 76,262 cases of coronavirus have been reported in Punjab, of which 47,012 are active and 27,488 are recovered. Figures show that 1,762 patients lost the battle for the deadly virus.
The data shows that an average of approximately 960 new coronavirus cases occurred daily in the county in the past seven days. The greatest number of cases occurred in the provincial capital at. 11,463, and no improvement has been reported in the city in the past day.
The government has asked citizens to follow standard procedures (SOP) for their safety. The government has warned citizens that the number of coronavirus cases in the country is increasing and represents a serious and immediate threat to public health. Social distance and implementation of SOPs are needed to limit the highly contagious disease. Meanwhile, the Lahore District Administration has taken action against SOP violations across the metropolis.
An administration spokesperson emphasized that field teams, on behalf of the Lahore Deputy Commissioner, had imposed fines of over 52,000 rupees on the Danish Afzal, dealers and transport companies for violating various terms of the SOP.
Administrative officials monitored the implementation of the SOPs at 1,285 locations in the metropolis and found violations at 99 locations. They sealed 99 stores in the city and seized 70 public transport vehicles for violating SOPs.
Afzal said the field teams have been instructed to take strict precautions against violations. All shops and companies that violate SOPs are sealed while the transport companies are in order.
