The Pakistani community in Saudi Arabia has committed to providing comprehensive support to Pakistani IT and tech companies to boost investments, exports, and business expansion in the region.
Saudi Arabia is home to the largest Pakistani expatriate community, with over one million Pakistanis residing in the country.
It also remains the top source of remittances for Pakistan, making it a crucial economic partner.
Saad Shah, CEO of Hexalyze, highlighted that Pakistani IT companies can reduce operational costs by hiring IT professionals already based in Saudi Arabia instead of relocating staff from Pakistan.
Pakistani IT Companies Get Networking
A special event was hosted by Majlise Pakistan, a professional forum of Pakistanis in Saudi Arabia, to facilitate networking between Pakistani IT firms and key players in the Saudi market.
The event, held in Riyadh during LEAP 2025, focused on:

- Talent acquisition and hiring Pakistani IT professionals in Saudi Arabia
- Strategic collaborations and joint ventures

Tufail Ahmed Khan, President & CEO of the Pakistan Freelancers Association (PAFLA), emphasized that Pakistani IT businesses entering Saudi Arabia.
Can leverage the expertise of Pakistani professionals who understand local laws, regulations, and market dynamics. This knowledge will help new entrants avoid challenges and establish a strong presence.

More than 100 Pakistani IT companies and over 1,000 IT professionals participated in LEAP 2025. The Pakistani Pavilion was officially inaugurated by State Minister for IT and Telecom, Shaza Fatima, who led the country’s delegation.
To honor the contributions of Pakistani IT professionals, Majlise Pakistan presented awards to outstanding Pakistani IT firms and individuals making a significant impact in the industry.
